On my old blog, I had a Baby Shower Games link which leads you to a post describing a list of baby shower games and you were able to download each game separately or as a zip and have all the games downloaded.
I have transported those games and I am posting it here. It was a very popular search and I thought it would be helpful for those looking for Baby Shower Games. This was developed as my Niece asked me to help her find some and it wasn’t but a few months before we had a baby shower for my older niece. Since then we are having 4 additions to the family and we had already 3 baby showers and I will be attending the last one next month.
I will be adding another game we played last week soon and hopefully be able to upkeep this by adding new games to download or add more ideas as I come across them.

Baby Name Scramble (download)
Scramble some popular baby names, and have your guests try to unscramble.
Baby Word Scramble Game (download)
Pick 10 or so words related to babies and scramble the letters. Photocopy the scrambled words on a sheet of paper for each party attendee. Give a time limit of about 5 minutes to try to unscramble the words.
When I Grow Up (download)
Give the adult name of the baby animal when they are all grown up in the given time limit of about 3 minutes. The guest with the most correct answers wins. More than one adult animal can be listed for any baby animal name.
Memory Tray Game
Set out a tray of around 40 baby items (more or less if desired) in front of your guests for about a minute or two. Take the tray and items away, then have guests try to name (on paper) as many of the items as they can remember. Prize awarded to the person who remembered all, or the most, of the items.
Baby Food Guessing Game
Take the labels off about 10-12 jars of baby food. Have guests try to determine what the flavor of baby food is (make sure you keep a record of what food is what). Awarded prizes for most correct answers. You could also have guests taste the baby food, but unless you’re really cruel, only use dessert flavors.
What’s in the Bag
Fill several small paper bags with one baby item each. Let guests hold the bags, but not peek inside, then write their best guess as to what the item inside each bag is. Award the prize to the person who has the most correct answers.
Songs/Movies With Baby
Sort your guests into teams and get them to write down as many songs/movies that have the word baby in the title in 3 minutes. The team who has the most song/movie titles wins. The losers sing a baby song chosen by the winners.Give guests a time limit to name as many songs/movies with the word Baby in the title as possible.
5 and 10 (download)
Give 10 seconds to name 5 items under a category, like 5 items in a baby bag, 5 types of baby food, 5 items of clothing for a baby, etc
Baby Picture Match
Everyone brings a baby picture, it gets put on display and everyone guesses who they are and best guess wins
Diaper Races
You will need a life size baby doll, wipes, disposable diapers and a blindfold. Blindfold the guest, the guest must use a wipe, and then diaper the baby doll. The fastest to put on a diaper on a doll blind folded wins.
Safety Pins in Bowl of Rice
Fish out as many safety pins in so many seconds out of a bowl of rice, most pins wins prize
The Price is Right Game
Purchase baby items (items that will be usable for baby) keeping price of items, price of item guessed or closest guess wins. Show item and Give name of store for extra hint.
The Cotton Ball Game
- With this game you will need two large bowls, one of which should be filled with cotton balls plus a large kitchen spoon and a cloth to use as a blindfold.
- Each guest in turn competes in this game. Blindfold the guest and give one minute to transfer as many cotton balls from one bowl to the other just using the kitchen spoon.
- Make a note of how many of the cotton balls each guest can transfer in exactly one minute. The guest who transfers the most cotton balls is the winner.
- Due to the fact that the spoon is quite heavy and the cotton balls are quite light it is very difficult for the guests to tell whilst blindfolded whether they have anything in the spoon, consequently they will spend most of their time transferring an empty spoon. This is very amusing for the other guests to watch.

Choose the candy that BEST fits the description in the left in 3 minutes. Winner receives a bag of candy.

Finish The Nursery Rhyme (download)
Have a game sheet with different lines of nursery rhymes, leave some of the words blank for your guests to fill-in. Give 3 minutes to complete and the one that has the most and chimes in first wins. Or if there are enough rewards, give gifts to the ones who answered the most correctly.

You can also right click on the download link and do a “save copy/target as” and save the file itself to your hard drive.
