Going on my own again and thought I would try another platform. Since I am not tech savvy I thought I would try this version of wordpress. I have heard some pros and cons and thought why not try it myself.
It is simple to set up so far though I would have to do a bit more playing around before really deciding on it. My first platform was Radio and then migrated to Movable Type and tried out Blogger. Blogger seemed easy enough to set up but the servers were just to slow and it just seemed to entangled to really enjoy it.
Unfortunately with Movable Type, I didn’t learn any coding because it was all set up for me. I didn’t have any hand in coding any of my templates, only how I wanted it to look. I had lots of help with the coding and set up, basically all I had to do was just post. I was spoiled of having the wysiwyg options with Radio that I didn’t find Movable Type easy to use unless you just did plain text.
Even though with Radio you had the wysiwyg editor, learning how to manipulate your templates was very easy, and I felt overwhelmed when I went to Movable Type that I never even tried.
So far this platform is real easy to use.
